Our 14-year old, 14 lb (a little overweight) dog was healthy, and we had been giving him Orijen kibble (high end kibble) for most of his life. But every time we had his bloodwork panel done at the vet, his liver ALT levels were slightly raised. Normal ALT liver values are between 12- 118, and his was always 226.Every time.
